Client: Oakhurst Fire Department

Challenge: Develop website copy for the volunteer fire department serving the Township of Ocean, New Jersey. The website must highlight the fire department’s legacy, act as a recruitment tool, and inform the community of the department’s role in public safety education, awareness initiatives, and local events.

Solution: The client wanted the website to have the look and feel of the Middletown Fire Department Training Academy. I loved the training academy's headline: Training the Best for the Worst. It inspired the one I created for Oakhurst. I leaned into the theme of neighbors helping neighbors with a headline that speaks to both bravery and community: Facing the Fiercest. Helping the Nearest.
